Journal Description
Journal of Content and Engagement (JOCE) is an international and open-access tri-annual academic journal that promotes media and communication studies. This journal is published every April, August, and December and accepts publications that focus on the content and engagement aspects of communication in different levels and contexts, such as interpersonal communication, group communication, organisational communication, new media communication, and mass communication, among others. Journal of Content and Engagement also welcomes studies that analyse different socio-cultural contexts of media content production, distribution, and usage and the kinds of engagement resulting from communication processes and strategies. The journal applies a double-blind peer review system.
Aims and Scope
Journal of Content and Engagement (JOCE) accepts submissions of original research article that focus on the following topics, but not limited to:
- the content and engagement aspects of communication in different levels and contexts such as interpersonal communication, group communication, organisational communication, new media communication, mass communication, corporate communication, among others;
- the processes and strategies of communication that resulted in context-specific content and engagement; and,
- the analysis of different socio-cultural contexts of media content production, distribution, usage, and engagement.
- Novel and emerging approaches in understanding content of communication (mediated and face-to-face) and its effects.
